For my final concept presentation I decided that I would illustrate my concept instead of creating a video or doing a photo shoot. I have included things that represent my FMP theme and what I have experimented on my sketchbook. Since the theme of my FMP are Asian culture and military, I have included a picture of a Kimono dress photocopied in acetate and buttons with relates to military.
Here is what u have come up with for my final concept presentation.

Chen Trouser Spec Drawing
Here is a spec drawing that I have made for my trouser design. I tried to copy my design as much as I can, as I am not an expert on Adobe Illustrator yet.
I will add fabric swatches and colour once I have mastered the software :) Thanks for reading!

Michiko Coat CAD Drawing
Here is what I have done in college today. I literally spent a day drawing this coat in Adobe Illustrator and it's not even done yet. I still need to add in my final fabrics to it however I haven't chosen my final fabric just yet.

Toiling the Michiko coat....
I have finally finished my pattern and I have started toiling my coat design in calico. Here's what I have done so far.
This is what it looks like on the mannequin but you can't really see it because of the light.
- I have cut out the front and back (1st and 2nd panel) coat pieces in calico.
- I took the 1st back panel and sewed along the centre back(CB) with 1.5cm seam allowance(SA).
- Then I took the 2nd back panel and sew along here(where my fingers are pointing) with 1.5cm SA.
- Knotch along the curve seam to give it ease.
This is what it looks like on the mannequin but you can't really see it because of the light.
- Do the same on the other side.
continue on the my next post.

Christopher Kane
The dress is worn by Park Bom and it's from Christopher Kane's S/S 2012 collection. She wore it for a music program she recently appeared in for a collaboration with her company label-mate. I thought that she looked really stunning and it really showed off her toned and long legs. The dress cost about $2,450.00
As you can probably tell I post a lot of Asian related fashion, that is because I really like their taste in fashion and they have this unique feel, look and style when they wear an outfit. I mean I like western fashion too so it's all good ^_^
Thank you for reading and I hope you liked it ^_^ Please comment on you thought and feedback :)
(You can see her appear from 2:43-2:55)
Another Asian celebrity that I found wearing the same dress but in different colour are Sohee and Yoobin from a female singer group called Wonder Girls. The colour conveyed different look and edginess to it.
