Bias cut dress

In pattern cutting today, I have completed my bias cut dress.

Front

Back

I found the bias cut dress more difficult to manufacture because the bias grain line is at 45% angle and the fabric stretches when you sew it together. Also when you cut the fabric out, the fabric moves.
The difference between the straight and bias cut dress dress are that the bias dress is more bumpy compared to the straight grain dress. You can make a feature of the print e.g. diagonal lines.
The advantage of bias cut is that it fits where it touches and the hem will flute rather than lie straight.
